Recently I Viewed A Video On YouTube About Bruce Lee, And He Was Defining What A Martial Art Was, He Said That Martial Arts Was A Combative Art And A Philosophical Life style. +
When I Heard This I Said To Myself This Definition Is Not Only For Physical Martial Arts But Also For Mental Martial Arts Witch Include,Chess,Weiqi,Shogi, And Chinese Chess.
Theses Mental Arts Are the Same Just Like Samurai Would Train Diligently With His Sword As Well With His Mind So Does The Great Chess Masters. Both Know battle field Tactics And Strategy Both Must Be In Good Physical Shape To Complete Again Other Top Opponents But,There Is All Ways The Exception.
The Same Principle's That Sun Tzu Teaches In The Art Of War Are The Same Principle's You Learn In Chess. Any Military General Will Tell You To Occupy The High Ground And He Who Does It First Has The Advantage, In Chess The High Ground Is The Center Of The Board.
In Chess There Are Different Style Of Play Mainly Positional And Tactical But At The Highest Levels Of The Game Positional can tun Into Tactical Play And Tactical Play Can Turn In To Positional Play, Like Bruce Lee Said I Use No Style As Style Be Like Water. The Same Goes For The Yin-Yang Symbol There Is a Litter Black In White And A Litter White In Black This means Harmony And Balance In The Way ,Same Goes For The Great Chess Masters. Here Is The Bruce Lee Video If You Want To See It Thanks Be Like Water.
